After such a long abscence, i decided to go to the London show.
A single day trip to London...alone.

First, i couldnt believe i was there...were the tickets going to be there too at the door...?
A beer to make the waiting time shorter...

The support band was nice, even if i didnt get to catch their name!

I was more than happy when i heard the first Travis songs, seeing that the Travis i knew where still the same ones. Enjoying themselves on stage and with that huge ammount of joy communicated to everyone in the venue!

The new songs were good, i love discovering new songs live cos you can hear how good they really are better than on cds sometimes...quite often actually.

Closer, My eyes, Battleship...Fran had his little stories again, about how the song my eyes was dedicated to his baby and that he was hoping he had his eyes...or how battleship tells us about all the stupid things we argue for in a couple...

Plus all the usuals were played...

It was a freezing day...but this gig made me happier than ever, exactly what i needed, thanks for that!

This night was filled with tonnes of excitement what with the boys being away for so long. I rememeber the long wait with my mate outside! - FREEZING!
Mega busy outside but grabbed a FREE brinkman sticker (now stuck to my guitar) and headed into the venue.
The support band Brinkman were really good and had a nice sound to them - dead catchy. Andy's solo was incredible /awesome what with him balancing himself on top of two amps and the balcony but it was all
good....New songs were great but I was annoyed with myself as I hadn't listened to the new album (tbwnn) for as long as I should have - the singing skills just weren't there with lyrics forgotten!! I was so pleased that you guys chose to play Colder and My Eyes - my faves at the time and the newbies worked well with a couple of the oldies
Good Feeling and of course All I Want To Do Is Rock. Great gig all round - great choice of venue with the cosiness
of the bar nearby and a good choice of tracks. [Got a bit p***** off though with some guys on the balconies above
us, they started chucking beer/water onto the crowd which wasn't on!]Managed to get a black market Travis t-shirt afterwards which made the day complete. My mate also loved the gig! Here's the setlist:
