tonight at Bank of America Pavilion was my 4th time seeing them perform live and this was as great as all previous three!

some highlights from tonight's show:
*great entry onto the stage--the boys went through the crowd, so that people in the back could still take a closer look at them

*claus--he's the new keyboard from Sweden and we all pointed our fingers at him (because according Fran, claus performs better when he's under pressure)

*dougie did not perform any solo--when i last saw them at the Warfield (San Francisco, CA), dougie did a solo piece (which i believe was the hidden track on the "invisible band" album)--i totally enjoyed it...hmm, but unfortunately, not this time around

BOSTON July 12 2007….. Absolutely Bloody Marvelous and then Some!

My first time seeing them live even though I’ve loved them since forever.

I was in Section 2 Row X with my Kid and even though I knew the guys would come in from the back I stayed in my seat... scratch that… Stood on me seat when they paraded in, until some oul wan who worked there told me to sit down (I replied “you’re kidding, right?”).

Ye can see the play list from other reviews, But my highlights were.

Clause! Clause! Clause! (he has a myspace BTW)

BIG CHAIR which was AWESOME (even without the Chris Martin Intro. Ahem!) first time LIVE in the US&A

Andy’s Freakout guitar solo in the crowd

Dougie singing cause Fran messed up his Guitar messin around with Andy.

My kid dancing around having a grand ole time with his oul wan and not saying MOM! When I jumped up and down like a mad thing.

Flowers in the window… Fran looking like he was having too much fun if ye know what I mean! And Neil looking cute as ever eyes closed nodding his head around to the beat.

And Finally Pogo Dancing to Rain… I was already but Fran encourage the WHOLE CROWED to copy me :) .. no not really. But he did get them all jumping up and down, which by the way for me is not a great idea seeing as I’ve had three kids and that does things to your bladder.. jeknowwhatimean…

Deep Sadness that U16 and Sailing Away were not played. Quickly replaced though cause I love EVERY song that was played.

I did wait outside afterwards, but had to get the bleedin babysitter home for 12 so left at 11.20 for the drive home (also my 15 year old son was embarrassed).. I was devastated that they didn’t leave the venue earlier… I mean Really Guys..

Oh and I lost my voice. BRILLIANT

I rate it a 10! Great show - high energy from the moment the band entered from the back of the tent with 'Rocky' theme playing, straight through to the encore. Loved it all. I was near the front in Section 2 and everyone around me was HAPPY, singing along, standing throughout the entire show w/occasional dancing (everyone pogoed for encore's WDIAROM). The band seemed even happier than we were, so that good feeling kept being bounced back and forth. Great mix of new songs and old favorites. "Battleship" is my new favorite. Great set, excellent sound, beautiful surroundings, adoring fans, eager to please band - now THAT's entertainment!! So glad I was there - thank you, Travis!! oxoxox

I'm still glowing from the show, an afterglow, if you will.

I brought my 10 year old son Emthry, to his first serious rock concert ever, and he loved it, loved it! We had the best seats I've ever been in, 4th row. I was nervous that his autism might be a problem, so I had no expectations going in. And so it was a fantastic time for both of us. I could swear Dougie was smiling right at me! So great.

I finally bought the Boy With No Name CD and I'm playing it over and over. These songs I heard for the first time at the show, and I love them even more now. And the guys tugged on my heart strings when I heard the songs from the Invisible band and the Man Who...old standards to me.

It was also so great to be part of the show shouting at Claus. It really brought out the "angry Viking" in me.

I hope to see them again.

I loved their entrance to "Rocky!" I'm from Philadelphia and when I read that they had made their entrance to this song in Philly the previous night, I just figured it was a Philly thing, you know? But uh uh. Pretty cool for them to enter like that, and from the back of the crowd, too!!

I sat in the front row, right in front of Fran. Shook his hand twice (my date got to, as well!) and Fran left his guitar pick in my hand. :-)

Awesome setlist, great banter with the crowd and I am still recovering from a wonderful night of lovely music and lovely people.

I love Travis...

First Time Seeing Them!
Crazy Performance!!!
Amazing Intro with Rocky theme song from behind the crowd.
Highlights: . Andy's Solo in "All I Wanna Do Is Rock" when he played in the crowd liying down with a girl. - "Klause cry" (the sweedish pianist who is supposed to play better when he is under pressure according to fran ^^) - the final pogo on rain when fran asked everybody to bounce!
