BEST ABERDEEN (or anywhere else) HOGMANAY PARTY EVER!
(even if i have only been to one and have none to compare with..)
Haven't got much else to say really!
Er.. I suppose, it was worth running down half of Union street and having an asthma attack on the way to get to the front! And it's great to be able to say "I spent new year with travis" and that we saw the last gig of 2007 and the first of 2008!
Brilliant start to what i hope will be a brilliant year!

Well 'What-do-i-know' you said it! An amazing show and the band were brilliant as usual! It was the best hogmanay party ever, and as you said it's amazing that we welcomed 2008 singing and jumping with Travis!

What a fantastic set from the boys.A great way to end 2007 and a great way to start 2008.To see twenty to thirty thousand people "bouncing and singing" along,Union Street up to the Castlegate was brilliant.Im still "buzzing" yet from the performance.

What a way to start a new year, or as Fran described - a new book with clean pages.

AMAZING! What a way to bring in 2008! I knew there was a reason I came to Aberdeen to uni! By far the best hogmany line-up in Scotland this year!

My day started off with a quick visit to The Glasgow School of Art as it was right next to my hotel. Next came a beautiful train ride up to Aberdeen where the first sounds I heard were the beginning chords of sing - Travis were soundchecking! I hastily made my way up Union street and watched the guys do their rehersal. It was perfect Travis-weather, aka it was raining, and they ended with WDIAROM especially for us :)

I returned later to find eledh, sara and the other boardies from last nights Barras gig waiting for the gates to open. We ran up Union street and got front row center spots. Loved that everyone got their own Scottish flag!

The supporting bands were alright. I found The Taste to be better tonight than at the Barras. Also spotted Fran in his black hoodie lurking behing a speaker to the side of the stage very much enjoying Maria and Nicks performance ;)

When Travis came on I pretty much sang continuously from start till end, only dirupted by the new year countdown. I'd say this even topped last nights Glasgow show :) The guys played their socks off, leaving us nothing but great memories from when 2007 turned into 2008! :)

Also got to meet Andy, Dougie and Neil after the show, which made up for me having to leave straight after the Barrowland show missing the guys there.. They were as sweet as ever staying to chat for a while with us crazy ass fans :P

I wish the band and boardies all the best for the year to come!

I enjoyed above all Eyes Wide Open, Side, Sing & Turn. All the night was spectacular.
