The bouncers were video nazis again, but during 20, when they were stopping people from videoing, Fran stopped mid-song and said "It's okay. It's just going to end up on Youtube!" And we were allowed to film. :)

as always, this was an amazing show. as they walked through the crowd to get to the stage, i yelled out fran's name and he reached for my hand. awww, but him touching my hand was/is not as important as how their songs touch my soul. i had a great time and i can't wait until saturday when i see them again at the HOB in anaheim. thanks travis for another great show.

Well, last night I celebrated Travis show #10 with my 5 year old daughter as together we enjoyed the music of a band we both share a strong bond & love for... It was priceless seeing her face light up when she heard the beginning drum beat of "Selfish Jean." The show was of course fantastic & the energy of the guys on stage was as always remarkable! I saw this show while I was back in Boston in July and I have to say that even though that show was awesome and very similar this LA one had a very cool addition thus being the official unplugged version of one of Fran's best written tunes that of course being "Twenty" which unfortunately to the best of my knowledge is no longer one of the bonus tracks on the newest versions of "The Man Who." It was funny to hear the audience continually tell each other to be quiet so they could hear this amazing song without interruption. After the show, my daughter and I went to the side of the Wiltern to attempt to catch a glimpse of the guys and to our surprise Neil walked out pretty early heading over to the tour bus so we decided to head on over and grab a pic with him which I posted and of course as to be expected he was as cordial as can be! We attempted to wait for the other 3 for a bit longer afterwards though my daughter fell asleep in my arms at which point it was time to head home. So on that note, maybe we'll have such luck in Anaheim on Saturday night when we see the lads again though this time my wife will be the lucky one to join me as we have a family full of Travis love to spread!

The show is awesome as always but having seen Travis back in July at the Verizon Wireless in Houston, I was a little disappointed that they only played like 3 songs out of their new album... Anyways, I'm glad I flew over to L.A. to catch the guys of Travis! The unplugged version of "20" was really amazing!

Wow… I can’t stop thinking about that night! It was an incredible concert. I have been to many concerts in my life, including: Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, The Beach Boys, The Who, and Cheap Trick, just to name a few. I think that this concert was the best concert I have ever been to. First of all, I have practically grown up listening to Travis. I started listening when I was 7. I have always been enthralled by their music and way of writing. Because my birthday is on December 7, my parents gave me tickets to see Travis in concert. I was so excited. It was a night I will never forget. The show was spectacular. I sang with Fran on every song, except his incredible unplugged song. And, of course, I kept my eyes on Dougie almost the whole time. I was blown away. This was the greatest present I think I have ever received. I felt like I was in another world. This band that I have loved for so long was finally playing right in front of me. It was like a dream come true. Not only were they incredible on stage, but they were also the greatest guys offstage, too. I met the whole band. I can’t stop talking about how great they were. They did not show any sign of being vain at all. It was very late at night, but they made sure to meet everyone that was there. I was in my own little heaven. I would also like to thank Dougie, Fran, Andy, and Neil for making my birthday the best birthday I have ever had.

P.S. Dougie gives the greatest hugs in the world!!! :)
