The show was excellent musically, and the idea of the CD was great.
Travis should do that on the next tour.
However, the "truncated" set was extremely unfortunate. Not only was the show shorter, but we didn't get to hear some of the rarities done at other shows. The was particularly a shame since it was the first show to go on sale, and it is the most ardent of fans that buy tickets first.

Incredible night. What other band of there size would ever do a tour like this? The setlist was irrelevant as experiencing one of your favorite bands in such a intimate setting make you love them even more. The stories and accompanying slide show was great. For those who didn't get a chance to see this show, i can only say I'm sorry.

fran and andy were great, as usual. they sounded excellent and it was great to see them in this format again. it is such a unique and special type of show, i really hope we get the chance to see something like this again soon.

fran sounded wonderful and was so funny and charming – i could listen to all his stories a hundred times. it is so interesting to hear the narratives behind the songs and get little insight on things that have happened in their lives.

andy was great – he sounded awesome and it always makes me so happy when he gets the chance to rock out. was again very impressed with the guitar on before you were young. he is also so much fun to watch - he would look out into the crowd and smile before closing his eyes again, chewing that gum, and getting into the music!

now, don’t get me wrong, i had a blast, however, i do admit i HATED this venue. it was basically a restaurant with a stage. it was extremely crowded and the wait staff was quite rude to a number of people. i don’t mind crowded (that’s what you expect at general admission shows), however, it’s different when you have waiters bringing huge trays of food and drinks back and forth constantly. it was distracting from the show. fran would be talking and all i could hear was the waitress taking the order of the table in front of me. fran even noted it was strange because he hadn’t eaten all day and there were all these people eating around him!!

also, i think it was too bad that the venue booked a show afterward so that f&a could only play a shortened set… i was lucky enough to also attend the boston show, but i felt bad for anyone who was only going to attend that show. while they got to experience a great show, they missed out on a lot of the stuff other people got to see – rarities and an hour more of fran and andy being awesome and telling stories.

anyways, i could go on, but i don’t want to because i’ve already detracted enough from the brilliant performance fran and andy put on.

thanks again boys for a great show and for taking the time to meet your fans afterward! cheers!
