Wot a show!!!

Fran stopped outside prior to the start and took time to take a few snaps....

Then, he was BRILLIANT at handling West of Scotland Bigotry during the concert...

Three bigoted, juvenile idiots were then removed and the place went wild...

It was an amazing outburst by Fran and great to see..

WELL DONE for making a stand and not entertaining such behaviour!!

The music was marvellous....

The show last night was just amazing! They totally threw me for a loop by playing the beginning of 3 Times and You Lose and then going into Chinese Blues.. it was just incredible! come back soon!

Fantastic. Amazing guitars, Fran's voice is so beautiful..Loved every single song and they sounded just great--they all charmed my pants off!
PLEASE could someone post a setlist?? I am not a huge follower of Travis and I cannot recall all the songs or names.....Much appreciated!

Big Fran - put your dummy back in and learn to take a bit of banter!

Lovely performance Fran. They sound awesome and the interaction with the audience was exceptional. Too bad those jerks were there. But anyhow, it was a splendid show!

smilerjon: your an idiot... It wasn't banter it was bigoted bull and completely uncalled for. Fran was right to have them kicked out. The GIG was fantastic. Great energy from the band and the crowd. Fran going into the crowd was FANTASTIC... i wished so bad I had been standing there... The concert was a great ending to a perfect day. Newbury Comics gig was fantastic too.. only Andy and Fran made it and to hear "Coming around" live was magic. Kudos to the girl in the crowed who requested it. FANTASTIC GIG.

oops- did not mean to add myself 3x and you lose to the list of attendees! :)

This was by far the best Travis gig I have attended. The venue was perfect, and the band were in great form. I too loved the beginning-- the fake switch off-- and "Selfish Jean" was blistering! There was some serious energy at this show- both Andy and Fran getting up on top of the gear and diving off Marty McFly style-- Andy is really a madman- how did he balance on top of that amp?!?

The first part of the show was just exhilarating-- I also enjoyed the "Side"/"My Eyes Open" mash-up-- brilliant. Fran was entertaining as usual, and Dougie... in a pea-coat! LOL. Neil looked a little under the weather... I think they said something about that at the instore- which I enjoyed too, even though it was a little rough at times. They did play "Sarah" though, and were very patient with autographs.

So what did happen with those fans? I thought Fran was joking-- did they really toss out a couple people? Yikes.

Really a wonderful night- yes, please post a set-list-- I also loved "Love Will Come Through"- Fran had everyone waving their hands high, and introducing themselves to their neighbors-- good spirits!

awesome performance and great performers full of energy...
sucks though that HOB 'guards' wouldn't let you use the cameras and most of the folks had to use their cell phone cameras...

Awesome venue, awesome concert, and AMAZING band perform live. You guys truly rocked last night.
The Newbury Comics performance was awesome- especially since no jerks showed up and ruined Fran's mood.
Those guys at the concert, were right behind us(we were front row, center) and were pissing us off to the max. Glad they got thrown out, idiots.
Loved meeting you guys after the show, can't wait till you guys come back again!

This show was AMAZING. Neil was fantastic (though it’s true he didn’t look himself!), Andy was blisteringly ROCKING (he worked that guitar out! And let’s not forget the awesomeness of the banjo!), Dougie was so charming with that grin and bobbing his head along to the music (not to mention the peacoat!!!), and Fran was adorable/perfect/dreamy/awesome (liked his coat too, elbow hole included!) He was totally fun to watch and had some great stage moves (jumping off the drums/running backwards across stage). His voice is perfect and he was also charming and fun between songs. We got some good one-liners, such as:

“Don’t touch the hat.”
“…but then we started to get behind with things like fish suppers and whiskey.”

Ha ha ha!

Soooo jealous of the girl he danced with during Falling Down. Wish he had gotten off stage a little to the left of where he did. ;)

Every song sounded perfect and LOVED the “mash-up” of Side and Eyes Wide Open. The performance of Love Will Come Through was so perfect – I couldn’t have had a happier moment.

Saw the set-list and was jealous I didn’t get to hear The Cage and Good Feeling, but Fran’s solo performance of Twenty was great. Don’t know if it was just sweat, but it almost looked like he was about to cry. I LOVED the very end with everyone on stage singing Flowers in the Window together. I wish this concert could have gone on and on.

Fran and Andy were also fabulous at the Newbury Comics in-store show. They sounded great and were very charming and lovely. There were incredibly awesome about autographs and even took pictures with people (though the “rules” sheet had said that wasn’t allowed). They even took song requests, which was beyond cool, and I couldn’t believe it when Fran took my request to play Sarah. I was so floored and they did it beautifully. Also, was very happy to hear a great rendition of Pipe Dreams.

I CANNOT WAIT to see Travis live again!!! Simply amazing. Cheers!

There are few bands I will buy a ticket to see live, and Travis is at the top of the list. I was impressed at their commitment to the show despite a few jerks who embarrassed the Boston fans. My Eyes is my favorite but all were uniquely performed, some sweet and others that rocked. Bought a tshirt and still singing out loud. Please do come back soon!
