OMG!
This show was AWESOME! It was hard for me to come but I would do it again anytime! I was on the left in that big crowd, right from the stage, and Dougie totally rocked it :P I'm seriously thinking about going to the Gutern Festival in Bern, even if it's a 3 hours road trip, you guys totally worth it. You were great, just keep on rockin' and come back anytime near Geneva :D

The setlist as far as I remember it (chronological order may be wrong)

Intro: (This japanese song...they did in 2007-I think)
Chinese Blues
Something anything
Long way down
Eyes wide open/Side
J.Smith
Love will come through
Fallin' (As far as I could tell unplanned)
Sing
Selfish Jean
Turn (As far as I could tell unplanned)
Driftwood
Re-Offender
Writing to reach you
Why does it always rain on me
Flowers in the window

We were standing in the very first row, right in fron of Dougie. It was amazing - They were amazing.
They released so much power - The crowd was simply taken by it.
Mind blowing!

Andy did an amazing stunt on the amps - playing his guitar only with ONE SINGLE HAND up in the air, 10-15 over ground...AMAZING
Fran rocked! He jumped around took care of all the fans :) went through the crowd, - did a great job.
Dougie played amazing. The bass line in "sing" was terrific, and he did a brilliant job singing "Turn" and his part in "selfish Jean"

Eyes wide open/Side was brilliant. The intro was tremendous - but that wasn't the best part of it (besides the fact that those 2 are brilliant songs) the middle part between the songs totally rocked! I wish it was longer! Again: Great bass & Drumms here

Falling: Fran ran to every band member - telling them that he wants to do "Fallin'" - So I guess it was not planned. He went into the crowd- answered questions to the fans and made the security guards go crazy (The deserved it - believe me!)

Turn: Same here: Fran was introducing Claes - I think they wanted to do "Good Feeling" but he then said "Fuck it - let's do "Turn"" So I guess, again this was a bit spontaneous!

BRILLIANT!

ALthough I missed Good Feeling AND a B-Side :)

I was very lucky to stand in front of Dougie - he always smiled down at me :) and I could talk to him - very briefly. Afterwards - whilst waiting for my father to pick us up - we met Andy and Dougie: It was great (Thx Leti!)

Chinese Blues: For the first song Dougie used another bass- also Fender Jazz - as far as I could tell but afterwards he changed back...hmm...dunno why.. I also wonder why Dougie sang the same notes as Fran. I think on the record he sings a third below Fran while the guitar plays a third above Fran. (talking about: " a million lonely ppl with their head in the sand...). Was great though!

LWCT:Andy used the Gibson 330 Circa for LWCT as far as I could tell (again..)... for any other song the Les Paul D...which sounds FANTASTIC. The intro was the same as in NY: Claes started his riff whilst Fran was talking to the crowd! I love that intro for this song. Claes did a very good job :)

J.Smith: Franny down on his knees...cool!

Closer as Why does it always rain on me: Crowd was singing! BRILLIANT

Long way down: What an energy!

I'm totally blown in the best way possible...Gee...wanna turn back time...

...ok I could write more but this should be enough...
WTRY was a major success as well, as you can imagine...:D

The wheather: Hahaa everybody said: it's going to rain storm, etc. BUT IT WAS THE BEST WHEATHER EVER! :) Great moon, warm, shootingstars over the lake...amazing! :) AND NO RAIN (otherwise we'd have known who to blame :D)

Thanks so much for the night - especially big thx to Dougie!

I was right at the front of the stage with Nora, and Rachel and her daughter were right behind us, so that's kind of cool.
The concert was really just a once in a lifetime type experience. The energy from the band was just phenomenal and they got everyone in the crowd on their side. Being right in front of Dougie was just awesome. In America, I'll probably never be able to catch a show like this again, so I'm really grateful for it. Thanks guys for an amazing night! I hope you had fun too, it certainly seemed like you did! :D
