The show Saturday was not cut short as it was on Friday. They played a little more than 2 hours.

Fran started off solo and off-mic with 20. Few other b-sides were played: Beautiful. I couldn't remember the chronological order, but here's the breakdown by album:

GF:
AIWDIR
MTU

TMW:
WTRY
WDIAROM
Turn
Driftwood
As You Are
Blue Flashing Light
Slideshow
(by request) Luv

Invisible Band:
Sing
FITW
(by request) Cage
Side

12Memories:
LWCT

TBWNM:
(by request) Big Chair
Closer
My Eyes
(by request) Selfish Jean

OTJS:
Before We Were Young

Upcoming:
As It Comes

I think I got everything.. I think.
I loved the slideshow during Slideshow. LOVED IT. I was annoyed by the amount of TMW songs being played (I realize that's the moneymaker album, but they now have a massive song list to choose from! Even Oasis stopped playing Wonderwall live for awhile!), but I didn't mind listening to Slideshow to watch the photos. Before My Eyes, Fran showed photos of Clay as a baby and a recent photo. Adorable! He asked people not to take any photos because the Clay photos were private, but I saw a girl in the table immediately in front of Fran sneak in photos. I honestly hope she was just focusing on Fran and not trying to get Clay.

Having been to so many Travis shows, I wasn't used to how intimate (and quiet) this was, so I felt quite out of it. I kept expecting to cheer during Andy solos and for Fran to let us sing verses in Sing, Closer, and WDIAROM but the crowd was so quiet and polite that I didn't dare open my mouth. I'd always felt the reason why Travis shows were so great was because of the audience interaction so even though this show was intimate, I felt oddly stifled. I'll probably rethink this format and feel better about it later, but right now I'm just slightly confused. So I'm supposed to just sit there and listen? Feels... wrong?

The meet and greet ended up on the stage about 10 minutes after the show ended, so it became chaos as the people at the front tables and the bar sort of collided midway and blocked up traffic and got in the way of people trying to leave. It was too chaotic and I didn't bother to stick around. If they do this again on the stage at the other shows, they really need to establish where the line starts before the band returns to the stage. I much prefer it being in the theater's atrium next door, where it's more open. I lost count of how many times waitresses and fans stepped on me last night.

Trully loved the show. A unique experience. Even my guests - who'd never heard of Travis - LOVED the band and are still talking about it today.

But we had to leave when the band finished and I couldn't buy one of the "Bootlegs".

Any ideas where I can pick one up?

Thanks for a great evening.

Perfect! how often do you get to see your fav band inches from your face play acoustic sets of amazing songs - and talk about how they wrote them.... it was an amazing experience that I am repeating 3 times while they are in town but not enough times in my opinion.
I am so thankful to Fran and Andy for doing a show like this for their fans and taking the time to meet us all each night (even if we are a little tipsy and in awe..)
New York loves you - please do shows like this again! Also, Joe's pub is awesome i can't stand the bad reviews of the place. I love it every time I go there because its such an intimate venue.
