What a great venue in Ferropolis..all those iron mashines built up around the whole festival area and floodlit in all kinds of colours made it the perfect backdrop for an event like that...really a cool place!
Travis came on around midnight and right from the first song (Chinese Blues) the spark jumped over to the crowd and everyone seemed to have a great time...so many "sing-alongers" as if everyone has been there only because of Travis!
Sometime after the 3rd or 4th song it started to rain but nobody really seemed to care and I didn't even realize when exactly it has stopped again.
Great light show, great crowd surfing by Fran at Falling Down, amazing climbing stunt by Andy at All I want to do is rock! This man is crazy!! ;-D
Love will come through...man I SO love this song live! The bridge at Side to Eyes Wide Open and back to Side again was totally amazing!!
Can't remember the order of the songs but they played:

Chinese blues
Writing to reach you
J. Smith
Something anything
Long way down
Selfish Jean
Love will come through
Driftwood
Closer
Sing
Side / Eyes wide open
Turn
All I want to do is rock
Flowers in the window
(and maybe one or the other song I forgot now)

...then after Flowers Fran said that he's just been told that they're running out of time. Actually they wanted to play Why does it always rain on me yet but...he even gave this guy a shout to come over and tell us himself that they have to stop now but he hadn't had balls do do that of course so Fran apologied and the band left off.
That was really weird! I mean...Come on, what's 5 minutes more or less on a festival? It just would've been one more song. Röyksopp also played about 15 min. longer before so what?
...anyway loud booing from the crowd followed and everyone was shouting for Travis but it didn't help.
I found that pretty unpolite (by the organizers - not by Travis) to interrupt a concert like that...ah but well.. what a BRILLIANT show again! Hope it wasn't the last one for this year in Germany.
P.s. to Luis...it was really great to meet you! :)

Incredible concert!!! Definitely the best presentations of the night!! I actually loved how Travis just won the whole audience of the main stage… and there were kite a lot of (drunk) people!

I've never went to a festival like that before, it was a great and a new experience for me.
I was on Wernigerode, taking a summer course and I had a full day of classes that Friday. I had to escape after the morning to take the first train to Gräfenhainichen.

I met there with Trixi, she had my ticket since I couldn’t buy it from Costa Rica. They started with Chinese Blues and magically every1 went totally crazy !!!!. I love the way they combined Selfish Jean and Eyes Wide Open. There were a lot of singers !!! (one of them was me…) and a lot of people singing. This review is a bit short and not very good but I don’t have much time to go to the internet and the labs of the university are very far from my hostel. I hope I can upload a lot of great pictures when I come back to Costa Rica on August.

PD: I sent a little present to Travis after the concert, I hope they really got it. I couldn’t give it to them personally since the security was really strict. I hope we got some news from the guys soon!!!.
