This was a truely fantastic show, the setting was perfect, it allowed for great views of the band and the sound quality was excellent throughout the venue. I was lucky enough to be in the second row from the front, which was particularly exciting as I have been a fan for a while. The band played enthusiastically and performed a wide range of their songs from older albums and several from their newest- Ode to J. Smith.
Fran even asked for the PA system to be turned off at one point and with the audience quietened down he performed a beautiful rendition of "Twenty".
There was plenty of entertainment and banter from the band and the mood was definitely upbeat and uplifting, going to a Travis show is certainly a feel-good experience.
The final encore of "Flowers in the Window" was a great way to finish the show, with the band standing side by side in the middle of the stage. I would definitely recommend going to see Travis live, it makes for a memorable event, makes you feel happy, and you will be treated to some of the best musicial talent and songs in the music world.
