Great to see Travis back in San Francisco area.
Really enjoyed the gig as usual. But couple of thoughts

Zellerbach Auditorium
This place is great if you want to watch an Ibsen play.
A note to the Tour Manager:
Don’t book Zellerbach!
It’s too geriatric.(well…, we’re not there yet anyway)

What’s up with the guitar/sound guy?
Fran and Dougie were pointing fingers at him all night.
(Andy didn’t give a shit (a different drummer....))

Thank you for the awesome gig and
Can’t wait to see you again in San Francisco!!!

I was so glad to see Travis back in the San Francisco area again. This was my second Travis gig and they sure did not disappoint. I loved the opening with Chinese Blues right into JSmith. It was great getting to hear so many songs off of the new album. Before You Were Young, one of my favorites off of the new album was a highlight-with the gong! Humpty Dumpty Love Song was an unexpected surprise. I loved the extended version of Song to Self, and the rockier version of Side was superb. And then all the classics were also fantastic. Fran stopped singing for a bit during Closer and allowed the audience to continue. Love Will Come Through, another of my favorites was also great to hear. Fran and Andy’s rendition of I Kissed A Girl was hilarious and I’m glad I got to hear it live! Friends got replaced by Good Feeling via an audience member request and although it would have been great to hear Friends, it was still fun shouting Claes, Claes, Claes.
In addition to all the music sounding fantastic, the boys had great energy on stage. It is so nice to see that they enjoy what they are doing. I love listening to Fran’s stories. Fran had to stop a few seconds into Something Anything because he forgot the words! And he told us since they aren’t coming back for a while we can go see other bands, as long as it is not Coldplay!
My only complaint is the venue. Although it was very convenient for me I would have rather gone to another. The venue was seated and the ushers were sticklers about cameras and kicking people out of the aisles.
I hung around after and got to meet the guys(again) and take pictures. Thanks so much guys! It was a fantastic evening and San Francisco eagerly awaits your return. :D

they definitely did a great job. i was really sad to hear that they won't be touring for awhile to be artists and lovers and what not. i'm not sure what was up with the sound either. but i'd be happy to see travis no matter what
