What a fantastic night again! We arrived the Grugahalle about 6:30pm so we missed the first Band (The Rascals) and a part of Glasvegas but made it pretty close to the stage though. Afterwards came Fleet Foxes, Donavon Frankenreiter and Ben Folds and they were all pretty cool. Even though at the last two songs of Ben Folds I suddenly felt dizzy, everything turned black in front of my eyes and my knees went so weak that I had to go down as soon as Ben Folds left the stage while everyone elso was still clapping and cheering. And I thought "NOO, I'm gonna faint and miss the best part of the night!" *blah* But then Travis came on and it was like someone pressed a button and my battery was completele recharched so i could jump, sing along and enjoy it as I always do. That's just the magic of Travis on stage! :) We had such a good time again.
The set was a perfect mix of everything and it was so great to hear Love Will Come Through angain and U16 Girls...and the new songs just sound so amazing live.

Anyway it was absolutely worth it to drive the long way to Essen. Can't wait to the big tour in 2009! :)

What a great night out!!!
We had the pleasure of meeting the four lovely members of Travis (plus Claes) after their excellent gig in Essen. That´s when Dougie took the opportunity to "correct" our setlist. Pity we didn´t hear Good Feeling but U16 Girls was a nice compensation :-).
We would have loved to hear Song to Self but there´s always a next concert...
We´re SO looking forward to that. xxxxxx
