First of all I have to say that we had no idea what to expect from that show before...a concert with only 50 % of Travis?
How would that be? What will they sound like without drums and bass?
Is this going to be just a little cameo appearance and they're going to play only 3-4 songs and disappear again? After all we only paid 14 € for it.
But I have to say it couldn't turn out any better! As soon as Fran and Andy (the half of Travis as they introduced themself) entered the stage the party began.
The little crowd in the Lido was cheering and singing along as the crowd in a big venue couldn't do it better and the first song was right one of my alltime-favorites - Pipe Dreams...hawww!
After the first song Fran ran behind the stage to get a towel and said something like this time he can't give away his towel because it's his own..this time it even smells like home and held it under Andys nose to take a smell of it but Andy turned away his nose as if it smells like a wet dog or something, haha...made every-one laugh x-D
Anyway, they played 16 songs which we had NEVER expected..so cool!

It was so good to hear Dear Diary again, I think the last time I heard it was at the TIB tour in 2001.
Coming Around was a nice surprice too, I SO love this song! Oh and one of my favorite was Lola...Oh-my-God, what a great cover!
I heard it on Youtube before and thought it was wicked but hearing it live was even better! Hopefully this is going to be a B-Side!
I totally loved this little "special guitar" of Fran and it looked really funny to see him dash "All I want to do is rock" on it x-)
But my personal number one was "Song to self"! I mean...love at first listen! I recorded and uploaded it on Youtube btw.(with Frans permission of course) but as I see you guys have found it already. :)
