I must be sure these are the signs as I’ve been here a million times before. My boyfriend at the time got the coming around merch t-shirt, I got the flowers in the windows one ❤️

You are definitely not making a fool of yourself. Especially with such sage advice on navigating your 60s. Welcome and look forward to chatting 😘

Also my family surname is of Viking heritage so thanks for putting it about the islanders and resulting in my fabulous inbred self. Hope my ancestor was a good ride 👊

It’s probably the least bizarre thing I’ve heard. You’re a Norway Viking. You’ve been Marauding and pillaging our gaff since like 900 AD.

@spid. Yes I completely missed the humour regarding donating hair – which is typically associated with cancer fundraisers. It’s very plebeian and uneducated of me. In order to understand this level of wit I need it to be more direct.

For example: what’s green and eats nuts. Syphilis.

@fran – no bother. Thanks for replying and I’m sorry that you have to deal with people overstepping. Guess it’s your fault for being a sexy international pop star.

Now, that I have you though. I was wondering if you would consider shaving off your hair as I’m doing a fundraiser for the The Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Good and Who Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too. Any proceeds over and above our target will be donated to the Travis The Band foundation for board members who can’t quote and want to learn what the other buttons do too.

Good Feeling it was punchy and urgent but also a bit whimsical (I said hey, aww). I think it really captured the vibe, positivity (on certain tracks) as we were exiting the 90s and were free of mobile phones. Love A Good Day to Die also. Those were the best days.

Can we please stop referring to them as heart warming tales. Feels too middle class and woke 😂😂😂

Gig on the Green. I went down to stay with my two other pals in college. Once Marilyn Manson started we got split up in the surge. I was then a teuchter lost in the big bad city without a phone. Had no idea the address of my pals flat. Some random strange let me use their phone and I called home. My big brother turn called “Glasgow police” to report me as lost and asking what they were going to do about it. Meanwhile my pal had been trampled and pulled over the barriers by the volunteer paramedics. Her bag and clothes had been ripped off her and she had a black eye. He was taking care of her and she landed up in his end of shift debriefing. His boss said there was nothing else they could do with her and to send her on her way. He said “look at the lassie, she’s got no shooooooooooooooooooes”, he then sorted her out with flip flops from lost and found. She probably still has feet Chlamydia. Better than the cat aids I guess….

When I was 15-17 I worked in the local paper shop on Skye. I was wearing my The Man Who t-shirt and this lady who came in with her husband asked me if I liked Travis as her daughter was dating a guy from the band. She promised to get me an autographed album. I was desperately waiting for her to come back into the shop. Which she did a couple of times and promised it was on the way. Never materialised though 😂 But I was so excited regardless by just feeling that six degrees of separation. That was probably more exciting than if I had got the signature, it was the best summer as my other hero Vic Reeves came into the shop and I literally gawked then shat myself. Best times.
