Message Board › TRAVIS › Embracing my sixties!
Hello fellow travellers.
I have never done this before and had to check with a young person if the email from Travis was a scam!! Being reassured that all was above board I decided to attempt to join this noticeboard and say ‘hello’ to complete strangers who love Travis as much as I do!
It’s great being in your sixties because a) you don’t mind making a fool of yourself…b) you are confident enough to say ‘I don’t know’…c) you know more of your life is behind you so you get out of bed earlier than ever before!
Bye for now.
A, B, and C all sound good to me…wise words on getting up early…. I feel this but can’t seem to comply with myself 😆. My dad is 77 and can sleep ‘til noon so if it’s genetic I’ll never be an early bird 🐦 🤔.
Nice to meet you. 😀
You are definitely not making a fool of yourself. Especially with such sage advice on navigating your 60s. Welcome and look forward to chatting 😘
Welcome to the board!
Hello Mumstheword8. Welcome to the messageboard. 60’s seem to be the new 40’s by the looks of it. I don’t know if I’ll ever be an early riser. I mostly write at night when the airwaves are not clogged. Anyways welcome welcome welcome
Hi I also in my 60s it’s my birthday on Friday and have muddled through the tec. But I’ve succeeded yeah.I found the wonderful Travis in the 90s. I loved them then and still do. Life and family got in the way and I finally got to see the fabulous Travis in Leeds and at Thr Piece Hall in Halifax. I totally love them especially Fran. I could listen to his spoken voice and singing for hours.Fran you are totally mesmerising. Where are you touring back in the uk? Please come back!
