“The man Who” ha accompagnato il mio amore del tempo, la discussione della mia tesi, il mio diventare adulto. Una nota di poesia malinconica e dolcissima. Ogni volta che ascolto quell’album torno a quell’età della mia vita. Stupendo.
      Quindi, grazie Travis! Sempre!

Has to be the invisible band
Playing it constantly when my job included lots of motorway travel – before streaming services spoilt the pleasure of listening to an album in depth

It’s been said already but in order of preference :
      The Invisible Band
      LA Times
I saw them in Dallas recently and it was the best gig I’ve been to for many years.

It depends on the timing. I’m hooked on Where you Stand lately. However I always go back to Good Feeling

I think it is The Boy with No Name, but I do so love The Invisible Band (which was neck to neck for favorite).

I also am loving The Man Who more and more each listen lately. That is not to say that I didn’t already love it.

Where We Stand and 10 Songs are other albums I really love. The biggest grower however is 12 Memories. The more I listen to it the more it goes up my rankings.

12 memories is awesome, I remember when it came out and I used to play it very loud in my bedroom. I have a soft spot for the man who and invisible band because I used to listen to them on our family holidays with my parents when I was around 12, 13. I also very enjoyed LA Times, these songs are very precious to me because I used to live in LA around 2015-2017. LA is a very strange place but a great one too and when the album came out I was actually in LA and listened to it he first time in my car driving from Westwood to Highland Park. Such fun memories!

#1 12 Memories – Everything is very well done and produced in this era, and I love the visual and artistic concept.
#2 L.A Times – I’ve followed their singles from the beginning until their concert, which was the first one I ever saw of theirs. It was wonderful. Naked in Nyc is my fav
#3 Invisible Band -Simply the album that contains the song I love most from them.♡♡♡♡

The Man Who and The Invisible Band were the soundtracks to some of the happiest years of my life, so those two get my vote. “We Are Monkeys” is, in my humble opinion, the most under-rated B-side of all time. The “ba-na-na” in the background vocals is nothing short of brilliant. I’m grinning just thinking about it.

‘Where You Stand’ for me. It arrived at an important juncture in my life, and it just soundtracked that period. I remember it fondly, and WYS is part of that.

For me, musically, it is their most complete body of work. ‘Moving’, ‘A Different Room’ and best of all ‘Boxes’ are 3 of the most beautiful songs ever.

The Invisible Band was my answer when I joined the original board in 2005. It’s still my answer now.

Honestly every album is great, super hard to pick. But if I really have to choose — 12 Memories and L.A. Times for sure. 12 Memories sounds so different from what casual listeners probably expect from you guys, but you nailed it. L.A. Times is the one that got me into the band (I might be the newest fan here lol). It’s just so perfect I can’t even find the words. Catchy but also thoughtful, all the tracks are different but somehow fit together perfectly. Absolutely brilliant.

Good Feeling it was punchy and urgent but also a bit whimsical (I said hey, aww). I think it really captured the vibe, positivity (on certain tracks) as we were exiting the 90s and were free of mobile phones. Love A Good Day to Die also. Those were the best days.

I love most of them, but it has to be ’12 Memories’, makes me so damn melancholic for some reason!
