Travis seem to get better every time I see them and that night they were at their best.
They played almost every song of the album 'The man Who...' and did a handful of songs of their brilliant first album 'Good Feeling' which included the jump up and down like mad 'U16 girls' and 'Happy' which they played at the very end. Quite fitting really because everyone was just that, happy and grinning like buffoons.
Travis also did the famous 'Britany' song, of course and a cover of The Band song 'The weight'.
Fran told us, as he likes to talk doesn?t he, that he was been interviewed by some paper in Paris that day, and he was asked about 'Why does it rain on me??
'Is it because it rains in your soul?? the reporter had asked.
'No', Fran explained 'because everywhere I go on holiday it always rains'.
Funny guy :0)
Great night, coz I met Dougie on top of the tour bus, and some really cool people on the coach we traved over from the UK on!
Fantastic weekend and a great bunch of people I travelled with from England- Went with my sister who hates coaches but she thought it was great too. The gig was suberb and all the english people sang along- Much to the didgust of the other people who didn't know the words. Got to meet them after. Got great photos with them outside the gig- with Carrie- Remember that, you sent me some fab photos and you got in your local paper- still have the clipping. Made a pleasant change seeing them abroad.
