[Travis] were fantastic, as usual... I had to pee after waiting 5 hours at the stage entrance, and completely forgot that Travis are rather punctual; when I got back to my seat, All I Wanna Do Is Rock had already started. (DAMN! I Love the beginning of that song!) Anyway, I was right behind the soundboard, the setlist went something like All I Wanna Do is Rock, Writing To Reach You, As You Are, Why Does It Always. Rain On Me?, Turn, Good Feeling, and from my view, the setlist called for Coming Around next, but they played The Weight. After that was Blue Flashing Light which was fantastic. In between songs, Fran did his little rambly bit which is incredibly charming. Then they were done and the crowd gave them a whooping standing ovation, and they were off.

I'll leave the Oasis review to the Oasis fans, but before I go, I'd like to thank the guys for being so sweet and polite and abliging to the fans! A bunch of us were waiting at the stage entrance, Neil and Andy were walking in from down the street. A few of us stopped them, and I got an autograph from both of them after thanking them for personally updating the site and the messageboard (Neil said they love it but they haven't had much time since the tour started). Then I got a pic with Andy. They went inside. About half an hour later, Dougie and Fran were walking down the street to the entrance, Dougie was in front so he got mobbed a bit and Fran just stopped in his tracks to let Dougie get mobbed. So I went around Dougie's crowd, got a Fran autograph, and a pic, and as he went in, I told him they were great in Boston. Fran smiled and thanked me.

After they were in for awhile, every now and then Andy, Dougie, Neil and Fran would poke their heads out of a window above the stage entrance. Neil was the first one to do so, nobody really noticed so I waved to him... but after awhile, by the time Fran poked his head out later on, a bit of a Travis crowd had gathered and screamed their little heads off for Franny. I think he got scared.) The Travis fans, after awhile, wanted some more head-poking out so they screamed/sang an Ode to Travis (we love you Travis... oh yes we do.., etc) to which Neil promptly stuck his head out and gave the thumbs up sign. It was a very entertaining affair by that stage entrance, and Travis performed brilliantly. Hats off to them!

I was so far up that i could cover the whole band with my thumb, but WOW! for such a tiny band, what an awesome sound!
