The SECC is by now pretty familiar to us all and the soundcheck runs by smoothly and quickly. Both Crew and Catering are suffering many hangover casualties from last night and various persons can be found reclining in quiet spaces all around the venue!

Dougie comes back to the tourbus and does an audio interview while the rest take the opportunity for some time out before what we know will be a big show.

Ian McAndrew Travis' manager has flown up from London for the gig and has some good news about the impending next single Flowers In The Window, which today tops the radio airplay chart beating off the likes of Kylie and Shakira.

Pre- show meet and greets and family reunions over Travis assemble in the dressing room in high spirts as showtime gets closer, and then we're off through the darkness towards the stage.

The reception from the Glasgow crowd is amazing and they're definitely in a party mood for tonights show.

All sorts of inflatable props are being waved around tonight, an electric guitar and an inflatable sheep which is thrown to Fran after the first song.

Before launching into Good Feeling he throws it back to them where it's tossed around the audience for the duration of the song- a surreal sight. Why Does It Always Rain On Me ignites the crowd and I spy an umbrella also making an appearance somewhere in the throng.

Travis and audience are in good form tonight and this gig has to be one of the high points of the tour. During a blistering All I Want To Do Is Rock, Fran shouts "the spirit of Freddie compells you!" and starts a handclap lifted from Queen's Radio Ga-Ga", and the Glasgow crowd, responsive as ever carry it on through a memorable performance.

Aylwyn is snatched from the moshpit to drive during Coming Around and delivers one of our most exciting races with many thrills and spills along the way. As the last chord dies out Fran and the band turn and cheer him on as he pips the rest of the field for 1st. A fitting end to a great gig.

The celebrations continue at the aftershow till much, much later. We have a day off on Thursday where we travel to London for the final show at the Docklands Arena on Friday night. One more show to go!
