This was the third and last show Ive been to of Travis.
I arrived in Edinburgh on the 17th, and went to this show the very next night... with my mister!
This was an amazing amazing amazing gig as it was the first time I saw Travis in their home land, and its got to be said that they definately perform better when they havent had to travel for two days to get to the stage! :P
This show was supported by I Am Kloot - the first support act I HAVE seen that were actually on the positive side of "good"... they were FANTASTIC! And "Storm Warning" was equally as important as an opening song to my memories as every other major event in my life time! :)
I also remember, it was definately a case of "Spot the Aussie" when the lads covered Slade's Merry Xmas" - as I was the ONLY one in the audience I think that didnt know the song... lets just say that song haunted me for the rest of the Christmas Holidays - shops, radios, cars, tv... Argh it was everywhere... needless to say... I know the words now! ;)
Just want to say, thanks guys... what that show did and what the band has done to my life - I will be forever in your debt. Although Travis have been the link to a lot of bitterness and heartache, all is over ruled when I think about the one thing I got from this band... true love! :)
