Mine was more random than anything –
In 2015 I was living in West Ham, London.
I had moved there to try to find a band to join and become some kind of rock star.
When not working my day job I used to get off the tube at random stations and try to walk home just to learn the city.
Sometimes I’d get off in the outer zones, sometimes more centrally. This particular summers day I was knocking about near Baker Street Station, and as it happened, I was wearing my white Born To Rock tee. Remember that one? Such a cool design. Still got it somewhere.
Anywho, I turned a corner just outside madame Tussauds and who do I see? Andy Dunlop, with family. Just strolling down the street peacefully. I think they had been to the museum.
I think he spotted me. But since he was with his fam I didn’t want to approach him.
What a brilliant day that was! Imagine my excitement.

Them were some pretty cool years it seems. I was merely a few years old back then but The interview they did with Steve Lillywhite a few years ago gave some great insight.
The album is so full of bangers. A good day to die and I love you anyways are my fave tracks.-

When I can be arsed I bring out my Decca Legato Deluxe and listen to cassettes, it’s my absolute favourite way of listening. Other than that it’s just YouTube music through whichever speaker is nearest to my body at that moment.

At 13 back in 2007 I was playing so much FIFA and Closer was a track on the new game that year.
It became my favourite tune of the game, and eventually my fave song altogether. I then realised I needed to hear more so naturally I downloaded the whole TBWNN album on limewire, which I’m proud to say I have since made up for as a responsible adult by purchasing all albums at least once (and some twice).j.smith
Nice! Love me some twigs.
I’m currently obsessed with “Shipwrecked mariner” by Judy Collins. Beautiful songwriting and as always a beautiful voice.j.smith
Walking down the hill is amazing
