Hi @KB, Nice to see you. But haven’t seen the other musicgirl for decades. Joined back in 99, and I’ve been an active member of all the iterations of the board.

Simple. All deep cuts, rarely or never played live. This would obv be a one-off.

Well, I had a dream where one of the new songs is called Flames.🔥 Another called Bob’s Your Uncle.😄 And don’t ask why @dougie had on a white Elvis jumpsuit lol.
Alongside what will be some new classics, hopefully the new record will be sprinkled with a bit of edge, in the vein of LA Times and Beautiful Occupation.MusicGirl99
I actually like that about physical media; it’s why I have some of the same albums in more than one format. Having said that, being a musician’s kid (not a chosen profession tho), I know enough to say format doesn’t matter–Only whatever the listener is getting from those frequencies.
And I agree about having the mp3s offered with any vinyl releases in general.
Fair point about live music Franny. I believe live audio can’t be perfectly captured precisely cos live is the best way to listen to music. Some songs yes, but have not yet come across a perfect live album.
To no one’s surprise, virtual gigs are not far off. Who knows how that will impact the experience in the near future?MusicGirl99
Welcome to the board!

Trying sunflowers indoors. The first two attempts (with other flowers) didn’t take. Third time’s the charm tho🌻

Recording already! Congrats on the 30 years milestone–That comes across how tight a band you are especially live.

I could see this happening. They have the Singles in one album, so why not?

Lovely stories, thanks for sharing

In my Top 5. Love it, full of rockers. And I have all the vinyl (too much lol).

Cool topic, and nice to see what people prefer. Once I got my Sony MDR headphones, I haven’t looked back. Can’t be bothered with earbuds.
As for format, since I have everything–vinyl, CDs, cassettes, digital, ect.–I play them all and enjoy the variety. But nothing beats the warmth of vinyl.MusicGirl99
How about here too
MusicGirl99
Yes whoever knows please share!
This is easily their most underrated record, but it’s in my Top 5. -
