I'm from La Quinta which is a small-ish desert city in Southern California. Although I must say, it neighbors the city that Coachella is hosted in, so that has always been nice to live just a ten minute drive from the venue. Currently studying in Irvine for college though.
And as for my name, it is indeed a Pixies reference! I was so glad when they reunited because I was finally able to see them live. That was amazing. |

I saw them live in Lansdowne Road (Dublin) a few years back, the purists will tell you it wasn't the same as they basically did a greatest hits stadium tour, yeah and??... I had a fucking brilliant night even though there was no feeling between the band members it was still amazing to hear things like Nimrod's Son, Debaser, etc, etc.

Ahh, I was going to see them in Dayton and they canceled!!! canceled! In Kim Deal's home town even. What the hell? ;) (Still bitter, yes.) I still have my sad, sad unused ticket hanging up on my bulletin board!
