J. Smith is therefore an "essential track you need to download" according to a VIP (Very Important music Publication). Whoever says the media don't like Travis has just been disproven :)

Agree.
Could/should it have been first single?

No. I don't think is should have been. I absolutely love "J. Smith" and agree that it's a masterpiece, but it's not really single material. "Something, Anything" and "Song to Self" are way more radio-friendly, and now that I think about it and have seen the video, I'm glad they chose "Something, Anything" over "Song to Self" for the first single because it's the rockier of the two and that's what they're trying to establish with the new album - going back to their rockier roots.

pah, Q aren't that important. They gave the man who 2 stars outta 5 on it's original release and then spent the next ten years grovelling and making excuses about it. They suck ass!
