It was last night, and it couldn't have gone better!
Band nights at the Student's Union are usually dead. We had the place packed. The dancefloor when we took to the stage was heaving, and it's the first time i've ever heard of an encore in the place. The Hoosiers didn't even get one at Freshers!
I was so nervous the first few songs, but after a bit of a shaky start i got into it and just loved the next 45 minutes. We played for about an hour. 11 songs. 1 encore. It was fantastic! We had made 60 CDs for the night, and sold all of them within about half an hour of them being available to buy. So a successful night all round!
I'll post some pictures up in the next couple of days. We had a proper photographer with a proper camera and all, so i'm hoping they're good pictures! |
