So, tomorrow I will be leaving for Chicago to attend the American Boardie Convention and see my first concert since:
Just between us, I have never really been to a real, honest to goodness, shout-shout-knock-yourself-out type of rock concert. I have been to sit down and behave yourself and applaud politely concerts by washed-up singers from yesteryear (I do love my oldies, you know).
So, I'm excited and kind of nervous, too. I probably should have done the crazy groupie thing earlier in life. But I'm glad I'm doing it. I can't wait to see everyone! And then on to Cleveland! Woo hoo! |

Kayte, my dear, I am so happy for you and, as Anne said, thrilled I will get to be there to witness your first (and second), true rock concerts!!!!! You will be seeing the BEST there is.

| LOL Kayte. You know, it's never too late to do the whole "major fan" thing. Just let yourself go and you'll have an unforgettable experience. I should warn you now about the post-gig floaty cloud/ bubble effect which lasts for quite a while until the depression hits when you realise that it's all over......... until the next time. | Have a fantastic time, Kayte! A few years ago I made a New Year's resolution to see more live music. My husband thought that was a pretty funny thing to resolve. But I can't tell you how it has completely enriched my life (and our marriage!) to get out there and experience the music. I couldn't live without it now! |

| Have a GREAT time!! I lived the best hours of my life (as long as the time you had passed without a rock concert) seeing, listening, jumping and singing with Travis, so I hope you'll enjoy a lot ;) |
