This thread here is clearly entitled "Things you dont like/would like,right now", if you've a problem with people asserting the fact they don't like this new setup, where the place is run by over-sensitive drama queens quite content to regurgitate the same old boring-ass threads day in day out, then this is clearly the wrong thread for you.
And your suggestions for an 'Oldies Only Thread' perfectly encapsulates my point about why this board here sucks ass.

There are people from many different backgrounds on this board, with different lives, opinions and interests.
Is,n't diversity and acceptance of others what makes the world a better place.
Everyone should be made to feel welcome, and feel that they fit in.
There are no 'special clubs' around here.
Travis message board is what it is.

Of course everyone is entitled to have their own opinions and to express them on a board. It's a public board so that's what it is for!
But many people here confuse being honest or straightforward with being rude and insulting. And they think they're the coolest because of that. It's quite sad.
I couldn't care less if someone doesn't think the way I do, I'm very used to it and it's what makes life interesting.
I don't think people care or feel hurt because some old boardies feel it sucks here now. I know I don't. And I don't think that everyone should like eachother just because "we all like Travis". It'd be unnatural. I think the problem is not on what you say but HOW you say it.
No one should have to stand being talked to in such a way (or having to read people talking like that about the topics we talk about). It's not a matter of protocol or "tea party ladies behaviour", it's a matter of RESPECT.
I think the best thing to do is just let this die and everyone to continue on their way. |

Quite entertaining though (in a - I'm glad I'm not involved kind of way).
As a newbie it does make we wish I could see the old board and see for myself the differences. Any one got any snap shots?
