That is awful. Though school is there all the time but Travis only for one day, right?
(what sort of mother am I encouraging students to skip school for a concert?!?! Oh well. I don't take my suggestion back.) |

| I think it is important for people to enjoy themselves from time to time. I really think that if you're able to skip school, you should. Because I think the occasional thing like this is a lot more important than 1 or even 2 or 3 days at school. I hope you get to see Travis. |

Ahah, I like this! Students always think teachers don't see them in the classroom. But we do! We see everything!
But as Delia said, maybe you could be "ill" for the day? When I was a student I was often "ill" when my favourite bands were touring! ;) (Anne you were wondering what kind of mother you were, I am wondering what kind of teacher I am!) |

Nooo! SKIP SCHOOL!!!!
I tutor for this little girl, and when Travis came to Argentina last year I told her I had an appointment with the doctor. I didn't feel guilty at all. And if I had to skip school for a week or two, I'd do it as well :oP.
It's a great experience, you have to be there! |

Like everyone else said: skip school!
When Keane came to Buenos Aires, I skipped all my classes at university, my weekly violin class, and I didn't go to work for 2 days "for personal reasons". Later, when Travis came, I didn't have university classes to skip, but I missed my violin class again and I called in sick at work =o). No regrets. |

I skipped work the day Travis came to town. I had to! There was no other way...once I found out I was going to get the chance to meet them in-studio before the gig I was like PTFO!!!!!! :D |
