2008 years ago (exact date doesn't really matter here) a baby boy was born in Israel.
His dotting parents named him Yehoshua and he was from the King of David's lineage - the Messiah lineage.
As he grew up he developped a new philosophy and was seen as a rebel.
Many years later, even centuries, many things have been done on his name - he probably would be horrified of some of what has been said and done.
He came with a message of peace and fraternity.
