I like winter, mostly the first snow of the season-but I agree with getting a little tired of it after the new year. i heard that it is supposed to be the coldest winter in 15 years....so ...Im looking forward to that...NOT

Helsinki, Finland with slush on the ground and sleet/rain coming down, +2 °C. Horrible! I like those lovely sunny snowy winter days when it's not windy and not too cold, just a few degrees below zero and I can walk on the ice. Pity that only happens about twice in a winter here in the southern part of the country. Hopefully we'll get white Christmas this year.

- It's wintery, rainy and rather cold but not cold enough for snow (darn)
- I love the Autumn too (or fall for the US folks) all those leaves something so cozy about it all. I quite like Winter because of Christmas and the crispness of the air but I'm not keen on rain (as I always tend to get drenched). But best is lying in bed all warm and listening to the rain outside :)

I'm in Northwest England. It's raining, as usual. I like winter because I like wrapping up warm, there's the chance of snow (although it's rare here) and there aren't as many bugs and you don't have to worry about sunburn. :p
