Sure aren't people from Cork described as "Irish people trying to speak French"? lol
I remember one guy in my French class used to say, and try it phonetically, "Jew ma pell Greg..." instead of saying it properly. Eejit! |

I'd go with French...because it's just sexy! But Scottish is still my favorite accent for a guy. |

Scottish :)
gosh but i'm working in a grocery market for about 6 hours a day. and practically everyone there, workers and shoppers alike, are either Persian or Hispanic, so they both kinda have similar accents. And now, i'm freaking THINKING with their accent. Ahhhhh. At least its a pretty accent, but it's not exactly benefiting my english.. |

I'd like to be fully fluent in Irish,
Then I could sit on public transport and shout(instead of talking) to my friend/partner sitting right next to me. then I would sound like evry other non-english speaking ignorant noisy fucker on Dublin Bus.

Even having one myself, I've never understood what's so great about the scottish accent...(of course I'm very proud that we are pretty much the only accent that pronounces everything correctly - we only have two 'a' sounds A-> and a^, and most other accents, like english and american have about 4 "carpet, karen, waxahachie" etc, and we pronounce all of our r sounds etc...) |

- Farsi (it's too time consuming to study, so it would be great if someone could just come and put the knowledge into my head, please ;) )
plus Spanish with a Salmantinian accent
aaand English withOUT a German accent would be nice ;)
(oh and I almost forgot: Once I can speak Farsi and Spanish properly, I'd love to be able to speak Turkish and French)

Their is a fish and chip shop in Edinburgh which is family run. It has a mix of a few generations of Italians working the shop.
When they speak or more likely shout in italian , they do it with an Edinburgh accent.
Its funny to hear. |
