Hey all,

It's that time of year so postie post the photos of your Christmas Tree. I checked out last years thread and WOW was it impressive. With all the amateur/pro photographers om here we expect great shots. I am pretty rubbish with a camera but hey it's all great fun!

Show us your tinsel and sparkle! :D

Over n Out,
Wends x

Awwww you have a Charlie Brown tree! Only it's a lot taller!

Love the pics! I doubt I'll post mine since mine looks just like last years version.

We have two trees:

This is my fake one. Its about 4ft. tall. It came with the lights already on it.

This is our real tree. Its about 8ft. tall and the star on top spins on the inside like a disco ball. Its from the 1950's. A little Charlie Brownish in the middle:P

Back in the 80s, my mum was the one who always insisted on having a fir tree (with real candles). And I loved it. My parents sold glass-ornaments in their shop before Christmas, so we had lots of them on our tree...

Then, one day, someone gave me a "children's book" with the title "The Fir Tree" (by Hans Christian Andersen). The German version had beautiful pictures. And I made the mistake to read it. Don't EVER let your kids read that story if you like having a "real" Christmas Tree!! It is SO SO sad, there's no happy ending and it made me say things like "you KILLED that tree for Christmas!"
The following years, we had huge "tree or no tree" arguments before Christmas (my parents usually won and bought a tree) until trees becaume increasingly expensive and we started to decorate our living room with lots of fir branches instead of a whole tree. Now my mum and I don't really do "Christmas" anymore, so all we have is an advent wreath and a few extra candles.

THe tree always looks the same, so instead, I will share with you the tree I bought for my office at work. It is 1 ft tall and inflatable. It came with 3 song books!

This is one of the most pathetic ugly trees ever. What sort of moron would not only put this tree up but take a picture of it? I am thankful this isn't your real tree because otherwise I'd be asking for your mom's email address so I could discuss this matter with her further.
