So I just got back from the lovely NYC, and I made sure to do it up Travis style. While Fran was in town, I couldnt manage to find him, but I made sure to incorporate as much Travis as possible.
You see, I was in New Amsterdam
I just grabbed the bull by the horn, my friends
And then it rained on me, on Bleecker Street
But that's okay, because I went to the Park that is Central
And, I did happen upon Dougie
And whilst flying home, took a picture of the venue where I saw them play in the spring. Yes, I am that cool
And man oh man, the hippos that I saw!

oh and remember the gorgeous purple wavy front Topshop jacket that Megg and I wanted Kayte to get? I saw it in pink. It was really pretty but a bright pink spring jacket really wouldnt have been practical at that price. I totally would gave gotten it in purple though.
Instead I got this winter coat. droooool.
and a skirt that isnt on their website but is purdy.
Oh ya, I have a pic of it.
Im wearing it today.
I wanted Meggy to be at Topshop with me. |

I know you are an adult an all (clearly, unlike me), but when you go to NYC Sandy, make sure you go on the carousel in Central Park!! Best $2 of my trip. |

Great pictures, Kristy! I went through them all on Facebook and it was like being on vacation without having to go anywhere. Or spend any money. |

Luurve your NYC pics, Kristy, as I'm sure you already know since I "liked" nearly every one of them this past week on Facebook, lol. Also, your new clothes a fabulous. Can't wait to go shopping with you in Torontooo! :D
PS: I saw Michael Moore's new film "Capitalism: A Love Story" last night and that same bull was in the movie! (And not in a good light, I might add, lol, since the movie is all about corporate greed). It's the Merrill Lynch bull, isn't it? |

Hey Kristy - thanks for the tips! I'm heading to NYC in December so I'll make a note of your Travis trip around the city. If you've got any other tips of things to do and see, let me know. Cheers Debbie. |
