You're stuck on a desert island. You can take 3, and only 3, Travis songs with you. You may never be rescued so these 3 songs might be the only Travis songs you ever hear again.
Which 3 would you choose?

Nice thread idea :) I'm going to go with:
1) Driftwood (hopefully it would cause driftwood to appear in the same way that WDIAROM conjures up rain, then I could fashion a raft and escape! Plus it's my favourite song, but that's a boring reason.)
2) As You Are ("Everyday I wake up alone because..." Yes, that's why it's called a 'desert' island, were you expecting a party?!)
3) Selfish Jean (becase it never fails to bring a smile to my face and I imagine that smiles will be few and far between in that situation.)
Those aren't my favourite 3 Travis songs but I think they're the best combination for eternal lonesomeness. |

No, i wasn't expecting a party, but i don't want to get too depressed either. :P Awesome song though it is, i couldn't cope listening to it if i was stuck to be alone forever. lol |

Sometimes I dream of running away to a distant desert island, but with only 3 Travis songs... I'd be missing all the rest too much so I'd better stay here ;)
Anyway it's difficult to choose but I think it would be Closer, Afterglow and WDIAROM. They are my best cure for sadness and depression. |
