Eh?
I was being serious. Loads of folks get their beloved pets stuffed. |

So sorry Alex...know what ur going through. Did the right thing though, sparing him/her the suffering...so you can remember him/her as she/him was to you all those years....
@Darran...yeeaah I know...ahhh kinda gross...though...reminds me of "Scrubs" and their dog..but I couldn't stand having Sina -my dog, being dead - around me - looking as if she was alive again...

Oh sorry, I thought you're fooling around. I'm a bit sensitive right now :( The thought of getting him stuffed makes me sick to the stomach. |

How silly I was! I don't check out the General Chat board very often so I didn't know this.. Alex, I'm so sorry to hear that. I've never had any pets, but it must be a massive grief, I'm sure. I really hope you'll be okay. |

Are you sure hes just not 'out of sorts'?
My last cat was 19 years old and he had some great medication for kidney problems (fortekor) and his blood pressure regularly checked !
If the fat has gone from the back of the spine then there's not much hope , but if not , there def is.
If it is the end and the vet can't try something then I really sympathise as I know this feeling.
Sorry Alex :( |

Sorry Alex :(
It was the kidneys and we had tried special "kidney-food" for several years, but now he had become very lean and dehydrated, so there was nothing more we could do than letting him go :( It was the best thing for him.
Thanks everyone for your supportive words:) |
