aaaw, your trees make me want one, too!
(since we don't really celebrate Christmas anymore, having a tree would be pointless...)
When we HAD one, though, in the past, it was a bit more...hm... I'd say "old fashioned" (for Gemany, since now most people have "British/American"-style trees).
we had real candles (I was always afraid of them burning the tree down, but my [stubborn] mum didn't want artificial ones in the house *lol*), straw stars, wooden ornaments, glass icicles and all kinds of glass christmas baubles from our shop.
I wonder where all the ornaments are now... |

This is our Christmas tree. Dad always goes to the forest, picks a tree and brings it home. Then me and my sister decorate it. The tree's not perfect, but we kind of like it that way. It has character :D

That sounds really cool. Do you have any pictures from years past? I love old fashioned trees!
