Brett still has the moves. Saw Suede at the Usher Hall and it was outstanding. Brett really puts on a show and so pleased to see the devotion of the new generation getting into it. Ruby and I are going back for some more action later this year to a Manics/Suede double header. They did it a few years ago at Edinburgh Castle, Ruby and I went and it was SO SO GOOD!

Hey, hey, hey! It’s peeing it down on the Southside too and my day has been brightened by this lo-fi return to board life. Our Ruby is gonna be kicking off when she gets in tonight (school concert dontcha know but my baby is drumming so all good). To have her being part of this side of Travisllife too is so sweet. My other one wee Caragh Bear came in from school wearing my old Travis hoodie from the turn of the century- representing Travis to the fresh meat of Glasgow.

Piece Hall in Halifax last year was an absolute banger but Glasgow SECC from 24 years ago packs a punch because it was the first time I talked to my gig buddy, partner in crime and all round good egg, Pamela. Since then we have seen Travis in the 3 figures (lucky to have been teens in the 90’s and lived in Glasgow).
Also the Glasgow SECC gig where my eldest daughter first saw Travis is a highlight as she now is one of the gang and inherited my space at the front, like it was an artefact from the Antiques Roadshow. I may be up the back on the disability platform due to pogoer’s knee but it’s still one of my greatest loves.

SPOOKY- my youngest has just come in from school wearing a navy travis hoodie of mine from the millennium and I am so chuffed.

Hi Fran,
Thanks for bringing back the board chat as it’s brightened a dreich day in the City in the Rain.
Our Ruby Drew will in from school (S5 now where did the time go?) but she will be delighted to hear this news and join something I spoke so highly of. Once Pamela, Caleia and the gang appear it will be like old times. 24 years Pamela and I have been mates for and it nis all down to this band. You make more than just music you know?
