I think it uses that Gravatar website. Mine just automatically popped up with an old one I haven’t used in ages, so changed it on Gravatar to update it.

At the Mercury Lounge gig I gave Fran a doll I crocheted of him. I’m sure the band gets fan art and gifts all the time, but one day my IG notifications started going crazy and I found out the band was featuring “Mini Fran” in loads of stories/reels prior to their South American tour, helping pack suitcases and hiding concert tickets around various cities for fans to find π Management later reached out and arranged for me to meet them backstage before their next NYC gig so I could give Andy, Dougie, and Neil their dolls and have the “Mini Invisible Band” reunited! I even made Fran a little Huey doll to go along with his π Everyone was so incredibly sweet and I was really glad that they noticed and appreciated lots of the little details I put into my work. Pictures and videos of the dolls were featured in the band’s 2024 and 2025 year-end wrap-up posts so I’ve just been really, really happy that they loved them so much.

@Neil I think you mentioned having perfected your roast potato recipe during the Philly VIP meet and I’ve been so curious about that ever since, haha! Care to share??

Connections is so fun. Lately I’ve been playing “Countle” which is based off the numbers round from the UK game show “Countdown.” I swear though, sometimes the target numbers they give are impossible to reach lol, I wish they had a “reveal solution” option to show that it’s actually do-able.

I was at that show as well, flew over from NYC with my daughter and it was her first-ever concert. Set the bar pretty high ;D It also coincided with my 20-year anniversary of graduating from Glasgow School of Art so it was really cool showing her my old stomping grounds.

Travis were the opening band for Oasis at Radio City Music Hall in May of 2000. Writing To Reach You was the second song in the set and I was a fan from that point onward, I found them to be so funny and charming in their between-song banter and the tunes were so catchy. I went out to buy The Man Who the very next day and Good Feeling probably a few days after that, found they were playing a headline gig at the Theater of the Living Arts in Philly like a week later, and 14 shows / 26 years later, here we are π

Brought my daughter from NYC to Glasgow for the Christmas 2024 gig, her first concert ever. Seeing them in a massive venue like that was really different (the last gig I went to before that was the Fran/Andy show at Mercury Lounge in summer 2024, that venue is tiny and so intimate) and the cover of Mull of Kintyre (assisted by Santa and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers!) was super special.

Are fights at Travis shows a thing now? lol there was a fight in the queue for the coat check at their last gig at Webster Hall, too! π€£
