    Hey Luiz,
We always come through NY on our US tour. We played there last year at Webster Hall. Not sure when the next US tour will be but you’ll hear about it on the messageboard. Usually we’ll hit the road when a new record is out. Hopefully see you soon. Go Knicks!!

Haha! We tried to make the messageboard as close to the original one as possible. I kind of like it too.

Hey Zak. You’re right. Apologies if the humour in the Rules of Play did not land with you or anyone else the way I intended. We want to chat in the Travis community in a space that is respectful so the rudeness and (unintended) disrespectful tone of the mailer was dumb. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hey jmoynihan66, That was a fun tour. 28 shows in 31 days. It was great to meet everyone afterwards and we pretty much met everyone. Some nights we had to continue signing stuff outside because the venues had to close. Largo was one of the first in the run. Thanks for coming and thanks for posting on the new old messageboard.

Yeah the Tour archive is sitting on a server somewhere. Not sure where. We talked about resurrecting it but it needed a huge update and all the data inside it was an issue too. Who knows though.

Hey Annm. It won’t be for a minute but it won’t be so long until we tour the UK again either. One aspect of touring that fans maybe don’t know, I didn’t know until a few years ago and it seems obvious now is that established bands will usually leave a 2-3 year gap between shows just because you don;t want to wear everyone out. When you’re a new band though, you will hot a town multiple times in a year, supporting other band and doing smaller shows and trying to work up to bigger shows. Piece Hall was great. The last tour was really fun.

That tour was a lot of fun. Nigel came out for some of it. Entering from the back through the audience was fun. Did we have the robes at by that point?

I like the World Cup. We love Argentina. We miss you! I haven’t see the form of your current team. Is it a good team? Could they win? I’m very happy Scotland are playing of course and will stay up on Sunday morning to watch it.

I have a big Tuckeroo tree in the back yard which was full of bees a few months ago and this last few weeks has shed its orange berries everywhere (apparently this orange skin is one of the most anti cancer properties, Rosemary, Bamboo, the very toxic Firestick plant, some banana Palms. No house plants though.

When we play live I use ultimate ears. I’m more of a monitor person. If the song was good, I wouldn’t care if it was on a wind up gramophone or coming out of an iPhone speaker. For prolonged listening I have, since Christmas, been using the Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio. I use Apple Music as my player. I do wish live music sounded better than it currently does. There is a company called Flare Audio out of the UK who make headphones which, when I use them, uncover things I have never heard before. I prefer older recordings as there is a lot more live playing. I love the thought that behind the speaker and down a 70 year long wire there is Chick Berry or Nina Simone or whoever, playing live and alive. That we figured out how to record sound and how much enjoyment this has brought the world always fills me with awe. And it’s invisible!
