On a hot summer day, if all of a sudden it starts to rain; there is one explanation: TRAVIS. Yes, on June 19th, it rained, even poured in Istanbul and we all knew it's a Travis miracle. It was the third Istanbul gig and Travis was as incredible as always. But I have to say that; Fran and his beard stole the show :) Just kidding buddy, beard looks really cool on you :) Besides we always love you with or without beard :) By the way, Dougie, doesn't you age man? He is still the most charismatic and sexy bass player in the world :) Andy rocked us again and you all should have seen him during AIWTDIR. Man, he's really amazing! And last but not least; Neil, the coolest drummer of the world, was wonderful as always.

Istanbul's new venue; Black Box was amazing, the Turkish fans was amazing and of course Travis was amazing. They played an uber cool playlist and yes, they played my speacial-favourite; Re-Offender again! Huge special thanks for it guys. Besides Fran told us a story about his mom and "her shitty relationship" before Re-Offender. He even told us a poem by Philip Larkin. For all who couldn't be there, I have to share that poem here, right?:

They fucked you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

At the end of the gig, all that people holding the colorful umbrellas during WDIAROM was an incredible scene. It was really beautiful. You know guys, Istanbul really loves Travis.
