Okay, ideas have been passed around, and it is time to vote on the next boardie exchange. The official sign up will come later (incase people only want to participate if their favourite is chosen) so you arent commiting yourself to anything by simply voting.
I think it will be easier if people just vote on their 1 preference.
Voting will be open until...Saturday October (holy crap it's almost october) 4th at 5pm EST.
Ideas:
-Candy/chocolate
-Secret Santa (would require everyone to pm me their addresses and then i will distribute your address only to the person sending you a present. You can send whatever you like. The idea was tossed around that food can be included but not the sole present. price limit to be determined)
-Unsecret Santa (same premise, but everyone will know who is partnered with who)
-letters
-postcards
-books
-hats
-booze
-cereal
-country specific souvenir
Let me know if there are others that i missed (besides Dubz bodily fluids and STDs)
and i will start off the voting. Im going to vote for...unsecret santa bc i love the idea of sending whatever we want...and unsecret makes it a little easier (i dont mind doing the work...people just feel more comfortable giving their address to the one person giving the gift. And then you give and recieve a present to/from the same person. Secret would be a chain effect.)
Edit: If you vote for secret or unsecret santa, please also post what you believe a reasonable price to spend would be. Just of the gift, before shipping bc that will really vary. It can be in whatever your countries currency is, and we will figure it all out at the end if one of those categories wins.
my suggestions is for $10-$15 cdn. avoids people paying duty wherever it is sent. |

I vote for Unsecret Santa as well. Are we going to set a price range, Kristy? |

I like the unsecret santa idea too. Price range...$10-$15 maybe? I also like the postcard idea. But that one would be fun if everyone involved all sent one to each other so you aren't just getting one postcard. |

I vote for unsecret santa too.
I really don't know which should be the price range. The different currencies make it difficult for me to think what would be a reasonable price. |

Vote for the unsecret Santa, easier to do if you know at least something about the other person. At least you wouldn't send anything with Spanish flavor to a Spanish person etc. The suggested price range sounds about ok. |
