My 3 are:

Idlewild

they never really caught on here for whatever reason, but i have always liked their stuff, i even bought their live dvd, and was pleasantly surprised at how good they sound live. i really wanted to see them and actually was at a venue in hollywood one night only to learn that they had cancelled the gig, i got my money back and never really heard about any tours ever since

Arcade Fire is from Canada? Wow. Did not know that. I thought they were from England, lol.
We get a lot of Canadian music this side of the river. I hear those bands all the time over here in The D.

yuppers. I think 2 of them are actually from Texas but moved to Canada for school (i think..?) and formed the band in Montreal. It makes me happy that Chris Martin likes them
