Elbow wrote: Elbow Announce Autumn UK Tour
This autumn the band will be boarding the Elbow tour bus and heading out on their largest UK tour ever.
The action kicks off in Cambridge on Monday 6th October and the band will wind their way round the highways and byways of Britain before closing the tour in fine style with a homecoming show at Manchester Apollo on October 23rd.
I like the 'largest UK tour and wind their way......byways of Britain' and no Scottish dates hmmmm ?? |

Join Gladly on a pilgrimage to see them in Manchester!!! :)
As previously mentioned, I agree, it's odd no Scottish gig. Maybe they'll add at a later date. |

Elbow are coming to Truro which is as close as any bands every come to me. I haven't got any of their albums or heard much of their music, but I'm tempted to go to say thanks to them for coming so far down the country! Should I? |

It'll undoubtedly be the best night of your life ever. And that's not building it up in the slightest or exaggerating..... ;)
Seriously, don't ask. Go.
And Enjoy!!!!! If Truro wasn't 4 hours away I'd be there too. And I've already seen them 3 times this year, with twice more booked.
Does this answer your question???? (I suspect it might, and a simple "yes" would have sufficed) :) |

*rolls eyes*
Ok then, I spose I ought to get some of the albums first, it's just there's so many I want at the moment. |

^^^^^The complete opposite of the premise of this thread:
Gladly wrote: Loving this at the moment. Far better than Coldplay.
Don't Coldplay have enough appreciation threads here????
And which of the two have a Mercury nomination this year????
Each to their own, but I'm so happy that there is some Elbow love in this forum.

Gladly I opened this thinking this was an update on your elbow. I forgot it was a thread about a band you started awhile back.
Anyway but it made me curious how is your elbow doing? |

Heard that song playing in the background on Big Brother this evening (my sister was watching it, not me - honest!)
Always have liked them. Might be time to purchase some music by them... |
