Loving this at the moment. Far better than Coldplay.

Not able to see the link. Is it the new vid for One Day Like This perhaps?
You are so so right. Elbow vs Coldplay? No brainer!!!! They were brilliant beyond belief on Monday at the Royal Festival Hall. And I recently read a report saying that Elbow will set the bar for standards of excellence at Glastonbury next week. Go Guy!!!!!
(and don't get me started on the lovely Guy mmmmmm....) |

Outrageous! I'd be disappointed too.
Can you get to Gateshead, being the furthest Northern date?
Alternatively, if you're able to travel, London or Manchester will be excellent! Manchester cos it's the home coming gig, and London cos it's my venue!!!
Go on, you know you want to! |

Manchester is probably the prime candidate. |

They aren't playing Manchester according to the list on gigsandtours.com...now that's very strange! |

^^^^^It is strange because this is what I got in the email:
Elbow wrote: Elbow Announce Autumn UK Tour
This autumn the band will be boarding the Elbow tour bus and heading out on their largest UK tour ever.
The action kicks off in Cambridge on Monday 6th October and the band will wind their way round the highways and byways of Britain before closing the tour in fine style with a homecoming show at Manchester Apollo on October 23rd.
