Travis ~ The Boy With No Name
Modest Mouse ~ We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
Bjork ~ Volta
Peter Bjorn & John ~ Writer's Block (Non-Import)*
Jarvis Cocker ~ Jarvis (Non-Import)
*Finally released in the USA as a "non-import", meaning you don't have to drop close to 30 dollars to pick up the limited "imported" copies of the album. that's such a frickin' racket that "import" b.s.

The Switches album is very listenable, as is Klaxons and Cooper Temple Clause (RIP). Don't like Idlewild's much, which is a shame. The Gossip is annoying shit. The Manics is good and Travis of course. And I love Fall Out Boy's new one *shame*
Haven't bought much this year. |

Oooh, I'm really looking forward to this, every time I hear the singles they seem to get better, its like they push each other forwards onto greater things.
I got the Stay the Night single in HMV for 99p, bargain of the year! The b-side is very good, if the album is all better than that, its gonna be amazingly good! |

Kings of Leon is the album of the year by a looooooooooooooooooooooooong way. Don't have to listen to a million obscure acts to know that!
The View and BRMC have also brought out good offerings, and it'll be interesting to hear the new Coral effort.
I've not bought much this year to be honest, though I do need to look out for the Twilight Sad album...

Yes, I really do. I'll be buying it on the back of hearing one song, but hey!
I forgot about the Cooper Temple Clause album. That was a cracking way to go out with a bang! |

Just got a sneaky download of the new Dogs album. Add that to my favourites of the year, it is entirely enjoyable. |
