Ahhhh the frenzy J. Smith is causing ! LOL
Ok I got weak too and listened to the song (actually this is not a song this is a master piece of a mind blowing multitude of sound!) on the KCRW link, but I'll leave it at this. It's way too brilliant ! Thank you Fran for such an incredible creation, thanks to all of you lads for producing this awesome sound !

I am curious what you mean by this. You've obviously complimenting them but to me calling something adolescent means it's immature, maybe stupid.

I'm really just guessing here, but perhaps he meant to say youthful (?)
If i'm not mistaken then jugendlich means both youthful and adolescent in German.

I would say it's adolescent as in feisty and believes it's immortal and almost like it's something new, not their sixth album.
Does adolescent sound that bad to you? I suppose being one, I might be a bit biased, but I don't think it has particularly bad connotations :) |

Yes perhaps it's an age thing but I only ever hear "adolescent" in a negative sense. For a positive word in that vein I would use (and am used to hearing) youthful or fresh. |
