Thanks so much for all your kind replies. Getting so much sympathy from the board actually helps :o)
My uncle had a heart attack, and was put in a coma. When they tried to wake him up, he fell into a real coma. On Wednesday, they turned off his respirator, and yesterday he passed away. All day yesterday I was just waiting for that message, and it made me check my phone every five minutes. Dunno whether it was a relief or not to hear that he wasn't in this limbo anymore. |

More very sad news indeed.
Be Strong, your family will need you at the moment. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we're around if you need us.

I know what you mean, been through similar thing with my grandparents. You don't want to hear the news because you don't want them to die but you know it's inevitable so you sort of just want it to happen. And then you feel guilty that you are almost "wishing" for them to die.
But I know I was, and I am sure you were too, just more wishing for them to be at peace. And he is now.
Again I am sad for your family. |

Gosh Hanne , you're really going through a rough time at the moment. Sending you hugs and strength to get through it.
We also lost an aunt this morning to cancer. We knew it was inevitable but doesn't make it any easier. |
