It's very typical and touristy, but we really liked Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. The mini roller coaster ride they have at the museum (The Spirit of London) was fun.
The usual royal stuff. Art museums.
Just get a good tour book and you can't go wrong. There's something for everyone.
Remember to Mind the Gap.

Apart from the usual tourist stuff ( in a guide) Tutankhamun is at 02.

I LOVE LONDON!!!!
I went to London from October 1-6 2007, after an all-night bus ride from Edinburgh (man that was fun). I really regret not getting to see the countryside during the day. the uk is the most beautiful place in the world in my opinion. but I did get to see the moon out over the sea, so I guess that's something.
HERE IS A LINK TO MY PICS FROM THE UK PORTION OF MY TRIP:

and I know, Ireland is not in the U.K. |

I really enjoyed my stay in London. If you click on the links you can see some of my pictures ;)
And if you like football, you should go to see the Emirates Stadium, it's beautiful :)
pic 01 You can do the boat trip on the Thames. It's fantastic.
pic 02 Westminster Abbey, near the Big Ben.
pic 03 Changing the Guards at Buckingham Palace. It's beautiful. The day I went to see it, they played some ABBA songs.
pic 04 The Camden Market. Sorry, you won't be able to see this, I think.
pic 05 Shakesperare's Globe. It's terrific, you should go ;)
pic 06 Greenwich. It's a little bit far, but the views of the city are amazing once you get there.
pic 07 Abbey Road.
pic 08 The British Museum. |

You can still see that bit of Camden Market, it was only one of the market areas that burned down. There are still 5 left! |
