i just wanted to say that Dougie is so cute, i bet he's a handful too - but in a good way.
DOGS RULE.

btw...we spent three hours today with about 50 other Bernese Mountain Dogs from Michigan...including two of Dougie's brother, one sister and his mom.
Here's Dougie next to a 130 lb. dog...he will be only slightly smaller...the wife is very scared now...

| I saw six Dougie's relatives yesterday, pretty impressive sight. there must have been some kind of gathering, although most of them seem to belong to the same people. |

Don't know anything about dogs...but isn't Dougie's race from the Pyrenees? The Béarn region which would explain the name? |

| just search the web and found Bernese are from Bern Switzerland. Hope you have a big house and an even bigger garden Mozman! |

| Ooh, Dougie's so cute! I love big fluffy dogs, and have always said that if I'm ever getting a dog it'll be a New Foundland :-) My neighbour used to have a Bernese though, and they're definetly one of my favorite breeds. |
