I decided very last minute to knit Dougie a scarf as a belated birthday gift. I worked on the scarf during the flight to Seattle and finished it while waiting for (Samurai) Sandy's flight to come in.
The Dougie Scarf - Worked in three-color stripes (purple = main color; black and grey); ribbed (k1,p1)
I gave Dougie the scarf after the concert and he was so appreciative of it! I got a kiss and a hug from him which made my efforts SO worth it. Dougie--I hope the scarf gets a lot of mileage this winter!!
Sandy has already requested I make her a "Dougie" scarf. I will be one busy knitter!
I made a scarf for Fran too. If you see any pics on the MB with him wearing a brown scarf, that's the one I made him!
Here are some pics:

Nice job. They seem to be very "scarfy" guys. It'll be cool to see if they show up anywhere else.

Woohoo! Would be nice to get out of the corporate world...
The Dougie Scarf will be all the rage...I'll make them until I get carpal tunnel :) Even then, I can hire CraftyCathy, hehe!
